Hanging Up

One of the first things that we did in this place was to hang up photos and artwork. I've always envied those large scale photo clusters that people have in their homes so I thought this would be a good opportunity to do one for us. I hoped to have done the whole wall in the dining room but there is too much furniture in there. We used command strips to get the job done since this is a rental.

I laid the contenders on the floor against the wall where I wanted to things and mapped it out first. I moved the frames around until they were in a spot that we both liked. Then we picked a center point on the wall and started hanging. It wasn't as tough as I imagined it would be. It now frames the office space of the dining room just perfectly and features some of our favorite pieces.

This is Oliver's mini art wall featuring some of Cleveland's finest! His wall is really long so we opted to just hang three images in a row. These images are part of his goodnight routine with Papa, he says goodnight to the man on the bicycle and the birds, then sings the alphabet, and waves goodnight to all three. It's pretty cute!

Happy Friday to all of you and hope that your weekend is great! We are really looking forward to the HEX party at MOCA tomorrow night and then all of the festivities on Sunday for the West Side Market. Enjoy it!
