Once the spring weather shows up so do the bright colors and fun patterns! I've been excited to show off some of the new fabrics that I've picked up! I'm especially happy about these lovely purple prints that are perfect for spring events including Easter!

Wedded Bliss.
I am so very excited to finally start sharing photos from some of the weddings that I had the pleasure to make ties for! Thanks to the lovely bride and groom, Terri and Ben, plus the amazing photographer Jeff from Dovetale Photography, I am able to show off. The amazing photos and the beautiful people really make the ties look great.
Ben and Terri had a beautiful wedding day in Cleveland back in May. I was lucky to see a photo or two the night of the wedding and was amazed by how happy and love-filled the day was.
These two were a breeze to work with. The mission was to match the coral dresses with a cool fabric that wasn't too feminine. I honestly showed them two rounds of samples and the choice was made! Ben wanted to wear a bow tie and all of his men wore skinny neck ties. On my end, we picked and ordered the fabric...then we bought the house and moved! So the project spanned two homes and a lot of stress but I was really pleased with how they turned out. Thank you SO much for letting me share your special day. There are more to come. Happy Friday, friends!

Wedded Bliss.
There are so many things that I love about weddings. But lately the best part has been seeing two friends unite surrounded by love. It brings together so many people that care about them from all over to celebrate. This wedding on the lake was heartfelt and sweet and I was so happy to be there.
Look at all of these happy faces! I had the honor of making all of the ties for the groom and his gents. Plus there were a few more mixed in there too! My brother and my husband but it still counts to me! Congratulations to the newly renewed newlyweds! We had a blast dancing and catching up. We wish you a lifetime of happiness!

Fine Young Gentleman
May was a very busy month for us. Work, new house, toddler maintenance, life. I'm sure you can relate. But we've also been busy making new bow ties and O agreed to model some for me too which is nice! This little blue eyed bandit looks so handsome in the new colors and I just wanted to share.
I am obsessed with this anchor fabric and am so glad that I impulsively (and compulsively) laid in bed one morning and bought it before my feet even touched the ground! I have a bit of an issue sometimes. Some of these are listed in the shop and some of them are for a very excited upcoming project...stay tuned for that. Happy Monday!

Classic Charm
Spring is right around the corner...right? I've heard the birds chirping in the morning so I have to believe that they are happy about something. Warmer weather means lighter clothing and sunny colors.
I've been working hard with some brides for their upcoming weddings and while finding the perfect fabrics for their weddings, I've also been finding the perfect fabrics for the shop. It's really hard to narrow things down for myself and to know when to put things back. This Liberty of London was a must!
We'd be drowning in fabric if I got every single one that I like! So here are a few of the new ones that I'm gushing over! I just love the way that the diamond point looks, it's just a little different but still so classic. Plus I'm getting much better at tying the bow ties myself too! I'm off to start the day, I hope yours is a good one.

Dressed to Kill.
I've been busy over here thinking of spring...and to me it apparently means black, white and turquoise.
One of these double sided beauties has already made an appearance out on the town and now there's one in the mix for that special man. Mix it up and get flashy with it.
And finally, here's a diamond point linen. I love it. I'm not trying to toot my own horn (any further than usual) I'm just excited! Tell me, what do you think? I hope you have a great weekend. I also hope it's a long one for all of you! We are headed to Chicago to see our friends and I am excited to adventure out of town for a bit, relax with friends, and enjoy the frenzy of four kids! Enjoy yourselves and I'll catch you next week.

For the Fellas
This Sunday is the Boutique Bridal Bazaar and I've been really busy getting things together for it. From my experience, wedding planning tends to overshadow the groom but that's no longer the case if you stop by and see me at the show! I'll have men's bow ties, neckties, and pocket squares in addition to the boys clip on bow ties! I'm really excited to release these new additions to the line! My darling husband was kind enough to model for me! Isn't he handsome...
The Boutique Bridal Bazaar, hosted by Something White, is an atypical bridal show for brides seeking vendors and products that will help them pull off a unique and stylish wedding. Come ready to taste culinary confections, acquire accoutrements, feast your eyes on the latest wedding fashions and BE ALL-AROUND INSPIRED. If any of you out there are still looking for tickets I have two complimentary ones to give away, so let me know! They are also available here.

Now for the fun part! I have two tickets to raffle off for the show! Please leave a comment below (and your email) and tell me why you'd like to go! The winner will be picked at random this Friday! And if you just can't wait, tickets are available here.

Sharp Dressed Man
Are these boys handsome or what?! The most exciting new of the week is that I managed to make some real live adult mens bow ties that tie! Woohoo! I'm super excited that they turned out well! JJ seemed impressed with them too. So if you are into matching accessories than I've got you covered! You can find them here or come out to the Last Minute Market on Saturday and see me there! Happy Wednesday!

Cleveland Craft
A very big thank you to all that came out to the Cleveland Handmade Market last Saturday. The weather was fair and it was a perfect day to check out the creatives that live right here in the area. There were about twenty or so vendors selling their wares in the beautiful Tower Press Building on Superior.
It was so sweet to meet so many nice people! O and JJ made an appearance and little man was spotted as the Etsy bow tie baby! He has no idea how many people have seen his face. Hopefully he won't be annoyed when he's older! I think the new hoop displays worked out great!
The giant gold balloons were a hit with me and near the end of the show Santa and Mrs. Claus showed up to say hi! Thanks again for coming out! Now I'll be back in my workshop getting things ready for Last Minute Market on the 15th!
