Art in the Petit Parc.

This fall marks the first time that I made a collection for the season. I have an incredibly tough time narrowing down fabrics so I usually just buy what I like in small quantities. This time I wanted to try something a little different. So I'm happy to unveil the Simple Hands Fall Collection. I'm obsessed with patterns, shapes, and colors. I found these lovely linens and picked out a few that I hope you like!

You'll be able to come and see them in person next week. I am really excited to announce that I am taking part in this fun event again! Please come and join me and lots of other creative and amazing Cleveland makers for a fun night in Lakewood! Here's the info!

It’s that time again friends! Join us for the
4th Annual Art in the Parc; a celebration
of summer and creativity at Chartreuse.

This show and sale is a way to showcase our fellow
like-minded artists and designers who support
our studio and create fantastic art.

Please stop by for a few summer sweets, treats and libations as you peruse the “Art in the Parc.”

Some of this years artists include...
- Erica-Frazier Young of

Little Light Prints.

I have a known weakness. I'm basically incapable of not buying cute/cool/inspiring prints when I see them. And when I saw these Little Light Prints offered on Brickyard Buffalo last week I knew I had to have them. They are just so cute and I knew they would be perfect in our little man's new room or playroom.

The excitement and anticipation of moving into our new house is palpable. I think that even O is ready to go! There's endless opportunity to paint, decorate, and remodel. So when I see something that I think will help me get a theme going it's hard to pass up! But I can't get everything there is to get. I have to  be cautious and reasonable with spending. I say that in the most mature voice I have. To curb my spending I pin like crazy and do my best to save up for the perfect thing! Have any great decorating ideas that are budget friendly? Send them my way!

Shop Handmade

The holidays are quickly approaching so I thought I'd let you know about the handmade markets where you can find me! This week opens the Made in the 216 Holiday Shoppe that I mentioned last week!

You can also find me along with lots of other great makers at the Cleveland Handmade Market on Saturday, December 1st 10:00-6:00 at the Tower Press.

And my final show this season I am teaming up with one of my best friends at the Last Minute Market in the Screw Factory in Lakewood. Saturday, December 15th from 10:00-6:00. It's always a great show so please come on out and support local arts!

Have a happy Monday! I hope you all have a short work week!

A Beautiful Monday

Happy Monday friends! I'll be spending most of my day at the Cleveland Clinic while my father gets a kidney transplant. It's an amazing blessing, a selfless gift and we are truly thankful. I stumbled across this artist, Andrew Holder on Pinterest a while back and wanted to share some of my favorites with you.

They are beautiful and capture some of my favorite elements of print. I would gladly fill my house with his work. Hopefully one day we can! Have a great day!

I got an email a few weeks ago that made me sad. One of my first Etsy purchases was from Yee-Haw Industries. I ordered some very cool mini holiday cards as well as some jumbo postcards. They have decided to close up shop for good and part ways. I know I was certainly not keeping them in business but I sure did love their work.

These are two of my purchases from them that we keep permanently displayed in the house.
I wish them the best of luck with all their future endeavors. And please remember to support local artists and businesses. They are what makes life unique and interesting!
